This has been a good week for Wale who released his new Mixtape Flolarin (Click to Download) earlier this week. I haven’t listened to all of it yet since I am on vacation right now and forgot my headphones at home. Listening to new music to review is hard as I have to find the time when everyone in the house is off doing other things since according to my Mom I listen to music entirely to loud (I wonder who I got that from LOL)! As I began this post I wanted to right about “Bad” the song that I keep coming back to on the Mixtape. The songs lyrics caused me to pause and look them up which is always a good sign. My favorite part of the song is what’s written below:
Bad girls ain’t no good, and the good girls ain’t no fun
And the hood girls want a smart nigga, college girls all want a thug
So it seems we fiend for what we don’t need
This is something that everone regardless of gender can relate too and that is the reason that I like it. The whole song is produced really well with a mellow sound. It features Tiara Thomas who Co-Produced the track with Kelson. The mixtape is worth checking out and like stated in my previous post I always look forward to new Wale music.
While researching music for this post I noticed that Wale also released a new Single today called “Heaven In The Afternoon” it was released at 3 pm eastern time via Twitter and YouTube. So If you ready for some NEW MUSIC click the video I think you’ll Like it!
